You can join librarians and cat lovers at Port Coquitlam's Terry Fox Library on Oct. 2 for an evening with the Canadian Animal Rescue and Extended Shelter (CARES) to learn about, care for and interact with your furry friends.
Making the decision to bring a cat into your life is one that shouldn't be made lightly but one that can be personally rewarding and fulfilling. CARES representatives will also talk about how they can bring cats and owners together, community outreach to bring awareness to the plight of homeless cats, and its "Trap, Neuter and Release" program.
The Oct. 2 session runs from 7 to 8 p.m. at the library, located at 2470 Mary Hill Rd. For more information, call 604-927-7999.
