Nominations are sought to recognize Tri-City businesses, individuals and groups that make a difference in young children's lives.
This year, the Tri-Cities ECD (Early Childhood Development) Committee is holding its sixth annual Tri-Cities Champions for Young Children Awards of Excellence in May and is looking for names of those who help kids.
Nomination forms can be downloaded from www.tricitiesecd.ca to recognize businesses, individuals or groups in a direct service role, and individual or programs working with children who have special needs.
To nominate a person or a group, a 200-word testimonial about what the nominee has done to help improve the lives of children under the age of six is required. The deadline for nominations is March 23.
