Everyone needs a little help now and then and that's what Tri-City Transitions' (www.tricitytransitions.com) community outreach services offers.
The community outreach worker provides:
preparation and accompaniment to Family Court;
referrals to legal resources and appropriate resources and services;
information, accompaniment and support related to child protection and social assistance issues;
advocacy with lawyers and other members of the legal system;
emotional and practical support;
transport for women to MCFD and MHSD appointments, lawyers' appointments and court appointments, when resources permit.
