People who are 50 years or older are invited to join staff from Dogwood at noon on May 10 for a walk to Mundy Lake in Mundy Park. The pace will allow for casual conversation. Once at the lake, registered professional forester Joanne Pickford will discuss the park's flora and fauna, and answer walkers' questions.

Dogwood Pavilion is located at 624 Poirier Street, with the entrance off of Winslow Avenue.

Residents of all ages are invited to meet at Spirit Square at 10 a.m. next Friday and participate in a warm-up activity and then walk around Lafarge Lake with Lynda Dunn. At noon, there will be a Gangnam Style performance by dance instructor Frankie Kwan, followed by a free all-dance exercise class. Spirit Square is located in front of Glen Pine Pavilion, 1200 Glen Pine Crt.

These activities are presented free of charge but pre-registration is required. To register and for more information, call 604-927-4386.
