Do you know someone who is a children's champion?
If so, the Early Childhood Development (ECD) community development committee would like to hear from you.
The committee is seeking nominations for the Tri-City Champions for Young Children Awards of Excellence that will be held Thursday, May 12 at the Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club.
Besides honouring work done in the community to support young children and their families, the Tri-Cities Early Childhood Development Community Accord will be signed at the dinner.
Nominees in the following categories are sought:
business champion;
group or organization champion;
individual champion - direct service role;
individual champion - leadership role;
individual or organization champion working with children who have special needs.
