The 15th edition of the Maillardville Coquitlam French summer camp is scheduled for July 2 to Aug. 23 in Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam.
The camp - for children six to 12 years who have at least one year of French immersion - is hosted by Société francophone de Maillardville in partnership with Canadian Parents for French, Tri-Cities Chapter, at two schools:
The first four weeks of the camp (July 2 to 26) will be held weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Sir Frederick Banting middle school, 820 Banting St., Coquitlam.
The next four weeks (July 29 to Aug. 23) will be held, same time on weekdays, at École des Pionniers de Maillardville, 3550 Wellington St.,Port Coquitlam.

Over the last 15 years, Maillardville French summer camp as been a place for fun in French for more than 6,000 kids and the camp experience is a bridge for children to keep up their French skills between school years. Most monitors are the product of French immersion schools in the Tri-Cities area.
The camp offers activities related to arts, sports, culture, history and more, and every Friday, a field trip is planned.
