Port Coquitlam wine tasters will get a chance to mingle with their neighbours and fellow community members at a fundraising event for the PoCo Heritage and Cultural Society this month.
A Taste of PoCo Spirit IV will be held at the Gathering Place on Saturday, Feb. 18, at 7 p.m. with proceeds from the event going to support the society.
Michael Thomas, an organizer of the event, said members will also be unveiling their new display centre at Leigh Square.
"The move to the new space will be a tremendous enhancement to the services the Heritage Society is able to offer to the community," he said in a press release.
The event will also feature wines from around the world and food is being freshly prepared by the chefs from Earls.
Tickets for the event are $45 but those who purchase before Feb. 1 can get them for $40. They are available at the Outlet (2100-2253 Leigh Square) or online at www.pocoheritage.org.
