Port Coquitlam will again be the last stop in the country for this year's CP Rail Holiday Train.
And it will be carrying on board two of Canada's finest musicians: Jim Cuddy of Blue Rodeo and Tracey Brown of Family Brown.
The pair will wind up the cross-Canada venture at the PoCo West Coast Express station at around 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18.
Earlier that night, at around 5:25 p.m., they will perform after the train rolls in behind the Port Moody recreation complex.
The company will also have entertainment for its Montreal to Calgary stops from The Odds, which is headed up by Port Moody native Craig Northey. The rock band will play on the travelling stage from Nov. 27 to Dec. 12 to help raise donations for food banks in North America.
Since 1999, the Holiday Train program has brought in $9.5 million and 3.3 million pounds of food including for the Tri-City-based Share Family and Community Services.
