Port Coquitlam kids raise thousands for child cancer research

Two Port Coquitlam elementary school students are participating in the ChildRun this Sunday, June 3, and have together raised over $5,000 for childhood cancer research and treatment at BC Chidren's Hospital.

Two Port Coquitlam elementary school students are participating in the ChildRun this Sunday, June 3, and have together raised over $5,000 for childhood cancer research and treatment at BC Chidren's Hospital. Josh Luteyn from Birchland and his good friend Max Routelym, a cancer survivor who goes to Blakeburn, will participate in 27th annual ChildRun presented by the Wilson Family. The event includes a 5 km route through Queen Elizabeth Park and a 1 km fun run, followed by a carnival celebration.
