One of the biggest corporate groups to take part in this Saturday's Ugly Sweater Dash will be a Port Moody fitness studio.
Innovative Fitness, led by Kris Schjelderup, will have 18 coaches and at least 30 members join in the fun that starts at Rocky Point Park at 11 a.m.
It's not the first time the business has challenged an Ugly Sweater run. In 2013, it was in the inaugural dash in Coquitlam, with a dozen instructors and 30 members involved.
"It's a great cause and we're happy to be a part of it," Schjelderup said.
"They're champions," said Jordan Birch of the Now That's Ugly Society, which hosts the 5k dash. "They're the ideal corporate team."
Registration sold out Monday for the event, which helps to raise money to grant wishes for sick children through the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. One of its recipients this year will be Hannah Kolby, whose father works for the city of Port Moody and mother, Juli, is the CAO of the village of Anmore.
