Presentation will demystify B.C.'s seniors driving test

ICBC will be conducting a presentation in Coquitlam that will teach seniors how to drive safely and retain their license after they reach age 80.

ICBC will be conducting a presentation in Coquitlam that will teach seniors how to drive safely and retain their license after they reach age 80.

The presentation will feature a provincial driving inspector, who will talk about the seniors' driving e-examination and demystify the process. It will also offer tips for senior drivers and other transportation resources and services.

A question and answer period will be held at the end of the presentation and the instructor will discuss several ICBC road and safety initiatives.

This meeting will be particularly beneficial for people approaching 80, or children of senior parents or relatives.

The event will be held in Room 2 of of the Coquitlam Sports and Leisure Centre (633 Poirier Street) on Thursday, May 23, between 1 and 3:30 p.m.

Attendance is free and free refreshments will be served. There will also be entertainment.
