A star from the reality TV show The Real Housewives of Vancouver will be in Port Moody next week to help a charity.

Mary Zilba will appear at the Burrard Social House on Wednesday for a dinner and fashion show to raise funds for the Michael Cuccione Foundation.

The foundation is named in memory of a Coquitlam teen and cancer crusader who beat the disease twice but died due to complications from a car accident.

Proceeds collected from the Nov. 5 event will support childhood cancer research for the Michael Cuccione Pediatric Oncology Laboratory at the Child and Family Research Institute at the BC Children's Hospital.

Tickets cost $75 and are available at the Burrard (2414 St. Johns St.), By Berit Boutique and Angelo's Salon and Spa.
