Sunny skies brought out large crowds to Remembrance Day ceremonies in Port Coquitlam and Port Moody on Sunday. Young and old paid tribute to veterans and reflected on the sacrifices of war. Port Moody's event was punctuated by a loud 21-gun salute fired by the Seymour Artillery's cannon. In Port Coquitlam, a long procession of pipers, cadets and first responders marched up Shaughnessy Street to the cenotaph in Veterans Park.
