The Riverview Horticultural Centre Society continues to hold public tree walks and other events even though the hospital is closing. The following dates have been set:
Sunday, July 15: summer tree tour
Sunday, Aug. 12: Catalpa north end tree tour
Sunday Aug. 19: Burke Mountain Naturalists heritage walk
Saturday, Sept. 15: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., TreeFest 2012
Sunday, Oct. 14: Last public tour of the season.
