The Charlene Reaveley Children's Charity Society is hosting its third annual Family Movie Day this weekend to raise funds for the organization.

Families can choose from three popular films - The Penguins of Madagascar, Guardians of the Galaxy or Frozen - that will be playing at the Hollywood 3 (19190 Lougheed Hwy.) in Pitt Meadows on Saturday, Feb. 7. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and the movies begin at 10 a.m.

Tickets are $10 per person and include admission, a drink and popcorn. They can be purchased in advance by calling Shannon Brooks at 604-339-6658 or Jennifer Reaveley at 604-723-6889, or at the door.

The Charlene Reaveley Children's Charity Society offers immediate assistance to families with children that are experiencing the loss of a loved one.

Charlene Reaveley was killed in a hit-and-run in February 2011 as she was helping a couple that had been in an accident on Lougheed Highway. She left behind her husband, Dan Reaveley, and their four young children.
