Are you hungry for an early Christmas dinner?
Dogwood Pavilion, a Coquitlam recreation centre for people 50 years of age and older, is hosting a traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings tonight (Friday) from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. There will also be entertainment by Sharon and Allan Boolinoff (Sincerely Yours).

Philosopher's Cafe: A free drop-in discussion asking "In this season of caring and sharing, what is a gift that can last and truly keep on giving?" This session runs from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 16.
Dogwood at the Movies: On Dec. 17 at 1:15 p.m., the featured film is Frida. Also, please note that Dogwood at the Movies will not run on Wednesday, Dec. 24.
New Year's Eve luncheon
Local seniors can say farewell to 2014 and welcome the arrival of 2015 with Vonda Sinclair at a special New Year's Eve luncheon at Coquitlam's Glen Pine Pavilion on Dec. 31.
Sinclair will sing, entertain and count down to a new year following the lunch, which runs from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Lemon Tree Room.
Cost is $12 for Pavilion Pass holders and you can register in person at Glen Pine or Dogwood pavilions, or by calling 604-927-4386; you can also register at www.coquitlam.ca using SignMeUp (the course number is 484716).
