The Prohibition-era themed event was attended by more than 200 guests and rolled in a record $50,000 for student aid, a spokesperson said.

BURSARY

A bursary draw at Douglas College's A Class Act fundraiser brought in $2,000 for student aid.

And the winner of the naming rights was Selina Robinson, the NDP MLA for Coquitlam-Maillardville who chose to name it the Tri-Cities Community Bursary Fund.
