Cadets and officers from PortCoquitlam's 2893 Seaforth armycorps pushed their way to successrecently - and for a good cause.

Theywere given 100 days to complete achallenge of 11,000 push-ups/sit-ups,the number corresponding to the distancein kilometres from Vancouverto Kandahar, Afghanistan. Besidesgetting fit, the event was aimed atraising funds for the Honour HouseSociety, which provides temporaryhomes for families of CanadianForces and first responders whilethey are receiving medical care inMetro Vancouver.

The corps collected$465 for the organization.
