NEW GIG
The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce plans to have a bigger voice at business conventions with the hiring of its first policy advisor. Aaron Robinson started his job this week and expects to be working closely with the Chamber's public policy committee on issues important to the Tri-Cities' business community.
"Local policies are where you can affect the most change," said Robinson, who will kick off his new job by working with the Chamber to develop policies in advance of the BC Chamber AGM in May.
His new post is effectively a return to his hometown. He moved to Ontario in 2007 to pursue a post-secondary education, attending the University of Western Ontario where he graduated with a bachelor of arts with honors, specializing in international relations.
