NEWBORN HELP

Winvan Paving rolled in another $15,000 to the Royal Columbian Hospital for newborn care. The donation from the company, which is marking its 50th year, will buy an ultrasound machine  for the neonatal intensive care unit to help monitor, diagnose and treat premature babies.

Port Moody’s fire department is bathing its antique fire truck in purple light until Sunday to recognize the Provincial Eating Disorders Awareness (PEDAW) campaign.
More than 40 venues across B.C. are supporting the third annual cause.
