Naturalist, author and educator Anne Murray will present a slideshow describing her recent eco-tour to central Mongolia at Tuesday's meeting of the Burke Mountain Naturalists.

While Murray's tour to the wild and beautiful country between China and Russia was organized by the Mongolian Ornithological Society, the focus was on more than birds, and Murray will describe the other wildlife species, beautiful scenery and fascinating cultural sites.

Murray is the author of two books: Tracing our Past: A Heritage Guide to Boundary Bay; and A Nature Guide to Boundary Bay. Following her presentation, Murray will provide an update on the Roberts Bank coal port expansion project and other issues of concern in the Fraser delta.

Her presentation begins at 7:30 p.m. March 11 in the hall of Como Lake United Church, located on the corner of Marmont Street and King Albert Avenue in Coquitlam. Everyone is welcome and admission is free.
