A multicultural summer fair is taking place Wednesday (July 31) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Spirit Square, next to Glen Pine Pavilion in Coquitlam.
There will be entertainment and displays to help educate attendees about the individual cultures which make up the city. On the performance side, take in shows on traditional Russian, Hawaiian, Tahitian and Iranian dance and more, all in full traditional costumes.
Several booths will have free food samples and there will be various crafts and fun activities for the kids.
Admission to the event is free plus there will be numerous door prizes.
