School's out soon but kids can keep reading all summer long with the Summer Reading Club available at the Port Moody and the Coquitlam Public Library.

Registration is now open and this year's theme is Funny Business, giving kids the opportunity to laugh with books of all reading tastes.

Students can track their success in a special keepsake reading log illustrated by award winning author illustrator Jeremy Tankard. Weekly stickers and prizes will be handed out and great new books will be offered.

Port Moody Public Library Summer Reading Club kids are also invited to some free programs.

Drop in to experience the mysteries of space with the H.R. Macmillan Planetarium's Starlab, and be amazed by Mad Science at their Spin, Pop, Boom show. Let loose in the library with our Reading Riot program, or relax at our weekly family movie events.

All programs are drop-in and free for Summer Reading Club members. Space is limited, so arrive early to get a seat.

Children who complete 50 days of reading will receive a gold medal at a fun-filled ceremony on September 6.

For more information go to www.library.portmoody.ca or call 604-469-4577.
