Take a hike through a west coast rainforest with great views of the ocean.
The Fresh Air Hike to Jug Island Beach in Belcarra Regional Park is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 1; it's a moderately strenuous 6 km walk with stairs and hills.
The walk is for people ages 15 years and older. Cost is $5.50 per person for adults, $3.35 for youths and seniors. Advance registration is required.
