Calling all adults, this Christmas bazaar preview is for you. Be among the first to check out all the goodies at Ranch Park elementary's (2701 Spuraway Ave., Coquitlam) craft show tonight, from 7 to 10 p.m. Guests must be 19+ and tickets are $10. Return with the whole family on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., when admission is $2.

The new City Centre Library (1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) celebrates its official grand opening with fun activities for kids and teens alike, free snacks and bevvies, loads of music and tours of the new digs. PIANO RECITAL

A group of piano students taught by Coquitlam's Kyung Hee Choi will tickle the ivories at a benefit recital tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Terry Fox Theatre (1260 Riverwood Gate, Port Coquitlam). Proceeds from the fourth annual show by the Helpful Hands of Classic Piano Society will go to support the BC Children's Hospital and people with disabilities who are in need of financial aid. Admission is by donation.

LIGHT THE HALL

Get in the Christmas spirit at Coquitlam city hall (3000 Guildford Way), where there will be free hot chocolate, cookies, and plenty of twinkling lights. The free family event runs from 2 to 5 p.m.

FREE FITNESS

Put a spark in your fitness routine at the Pinetree Community Centre's (1260 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) fitness open house, where you can sign up for three different, 30-minute "try-it" sessions in Yoga Zumba, Tabata, Weight Power Aerobics, Yoga for Runners and much more. Welcome and warm-up is at 1 p.m. and classes begin at 1:30 p.m. Participants can enter to win prizes and child minding is available for kids aged three to 10.
