Handmade wares from 120 crafters around B.C. will be sold this weekend at the 33rd annual Coquitlam Christmas craft fair at the Poirier community centre (624 Poirier St.). The event runs today from 5 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for kids. Visit coquitlamcrafts.com.

LAND OF NARNIA

FIRST FLEA

Kiddies' Korner Preschool, a non-profit parent-participation outfit based out of Port Coquitlam's Trinity United church, hosts its first annual flea market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 2211 Prairie Ave. Admission at $2 includes a thrift sale, kids' crafts and activities, a cake walk, door prizes and fire and police demos. Drop off non-perishable goods at Save-On Foods (2385 Ottawa St., Port Coquitlam) for the Tri-City Rotary Clubs' Generous Hearts Food Drive, which helps about 800 local families. The program runs Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 from noon to 6 p.m.; donations can also go directly to the Share food bank (2615 Clarke St., Port Moody) or any local grocery store with a food bank box. BOWL FOR A CAUSE
