CHOPSTICKS, TOO?
The award-winning Argentine drama Chinese Takeaway is this month's offering by the Port Moody Film Society. BENEFIT SHOW
Youth bands will rock Port Moody's Heritage Woods secondary for Project Theo. The Student Enterprise Club, a philanthropy and business group at the high school, will raise funds for HeritageForHumanity and Project 24. Alluvium, the Railway Boys and Bluesmoke will perform at the benefit concert. Tickets at $5 are available at the door of the school (1300 David Ave.). Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show an hour later.
WRESTLING
Get your fill of wrestling and help fill food bank hampers at the fourth annual Wrestling with Hunger, presented by Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (ECCW) at 8 p.m. Bring non-perishable food items, unwrapped toys, warm clothing and blankets to the Elks Hall (2272 Leigh Sq., Port Coquitlam). DANCING DICKENS
Seventeen young Tri-City dancers are cast in Motus O's A Christmas Carol, on stage at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) until Saturday. Ride the Santa Trains today by bringing a new, unused and unwrapped toy to any West Coast Express station and, in exchange, you will receive a return ticket for the West Coast Express (to be used the same day).
