Help kids get in the game by supporting the fifth annual Jumpstart Day at PoCo's Canadian Tire (2125 Hawkins St.), which raises funds for Jumpstart's campaign to help families that can't afford to enroll their kids in organized sports. Customers can donate $2 in exchange for a red ball; a barbecue and waterless car wash are also available by donation.
CLUTTER CLEAN
Home Instead Senior Care hosts a spring clean-up event to encourage seniors to clear out household clutter (such as sensitive information and old bills) and help prevent identity theft. An annual kids' favourite, the Como Lake Fishing Derby is back for a morning of fishing fun.
