Thoroughly Modern Millie, a musical by theatre students at Coquitlam's Gleneagle secondary (1195 Lansdowne Dr.) under the direction of Ashley Freeborn, ends tonight. Showtime is 7 p.m. Tickets at $12/$8 are available at the door of the school.

IT'S MAGIC

COMIC TIME

Teens in grades 8 to 12 can join artist Carla Dearman for a two-session workshop to learn about comic art at Port Coquitlam's Terry Fox Library (2470 Mary Hill Rd.) from 2 to 3 p.m. Dearman will cover skills such character design, page layout and composition, figure drawing, inking and more. The Vancouver Korean Dance Society presents the 17th annual Korean Dance Festival at Coquitlam's Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7 p.m. The show, Celebration of the Year of Korea, will recognize multiculturalism and diversity in the arts and will feature new and traditional dance styles.
