ON THE SEVENTH DAY
The city of Port Coquitlam's 12 Days of Christmas continues today with a screening of the movie Elf, in the lobby of the PoCo recreation complex (2150 Wilson Ave.), starting at 6:45 p.m. during a public skate. Hot cocoa and treats will be provided at no cost to participants.

ART UNVEILING
The city of Port Moody will show its commissioned carvings of two traditional Central Coast Salish house posts by Squamish Nation artist Jody Broomfield. The public art installation, which is part of PoMo's centennial celebrations with the project funding from Heritage Canada, will happen at 2:30 p.m. at city hall (100 Newport Dr.). Created by RCMP officer Tad Milmine, the non-profit group helps to inform youth about bullying to prevent it.
