Hear soprano Lambroula Pappas in action at Place des Arts' (1120 Brunette Ave., Coquitlam) first faculty concert of the season. SALMON FEST
It's time to welcome the salmon back to local waters in the 13th annual Hyde Creek Salmon Festival. This event offers fun for the whole family, with a chance to learn about the salmon's life cycle, do some crafts, eat some great food and see the hatchery at work. Raffle prizes include gym memberships, a helicopter tour, a trip on the Rocky Mountaineer and more.
