Catch The Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Port Coquitlam's Cinema Under the Stars screening at Gates Park (north of Riverside secondary). Showtime is around 9 p.m. Bring a blanket, bevvies and bug spray and enjoy the feature film. If it rains that night, the film will be bumped to the next Friday. Call 604-927-8400.

The Riverview Horticultural Centre Society hosts a tour of the north end of the Riverview Hospital site featuring the catalpa trees. Meet at 1 p.m. at the upper entrance of the Henry Esson Young Building. Dress for the weather, and wear comfortable shoes or boots. Children are welcome and dogs must be leashed.
