FARM TO TABLE

There are only three Fridays left to enjoy the Port Moody Farmers' Market so load up on fresh food and goods produced by local growers and vendors. The market runs from 3 to 7 p.m. outside the Port Moody recreation complex (300 Ioco Rd.). Visit makebakegrow.com.

TECH QUESTION

Adults can get one-on-one computer help from a teen volunteer at the Port Moody Public Library (100 Newport Dr.) from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Drop into the library's ParkLane Room to learn about eBook readers, email, attachments, flash drives and smart phones, for example. Participants can bring their own electronic devices or use the library's laptop computers. No registration is required. Call 604-469-4577.

The city of Port Coquitlam hosts a swim, movie and pizza night at 6:30 p.m. at the Hyde Creek recreation centre (1379 Laurier Ave.) for kids aged seven to 12. The cost is $15. To register, call 604-927-PLAY.

SING US A SONG

The Vancouver indie folk group The Fugitives kick off their cross-Canada tour at Coquitlam's Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) at 8 p.m. As well, Brendan McLeod and Adrian Glynn will lead a songwriting workshop before the concert from 4 to 6 p.m. Registration is $52 for adults and $26 for students. CHOO CHOO

Check out the G-scale railroads on show in Port Moody in honour of the city's 100th year. The Greater Vancouver Garden Railway Club will put on its display today and tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the wellness room of the Port Moody recreation complex (300 Newport Dr.). The event is free to the public.

HOCKEY TIME

Take the family to the Port Moody recreation complex (300 Ioco Dr.) to cheer on the Panthers Junior 'B' hockey club. The puck drops at 7:45 p.m. Visit portmoodypanthers.com.
