If you like trivia and are happy to encourage a little friendly competition, the eighth annual Uganda Quiz Night, hosted by Douglas College and Rotary Club of Coquitlam Sunrise, is for you.
You can put together a team of four to six members and discover whether you are smarter than you think as you take on teams from Douglas and the community on March 1.
Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart will be the quizmaster and Coun. Chris Wilson will be the MC. There will be some snacks provided as well as a cash bar. Door prizes and a silent auction will round out the evening.
The entry fee is $25 per person, with proceeds going towards student practicums and literacy projects in Uganda. The event will be held at Douglas College’s Coquitlam campus from 7 to 10 p.m. (because of the cash bar, admission is restricted to people 19 or older).
