Vets are wanted for PoCo May Day parade

If you have served, you may march.

If you have served, you may march.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 133 in Port Coquitlam is inviting all Canadian Forces Veterans of the Second World War as well as those who served in Korea and, more recently, Afghanistan to join its members in the annual PoCo May Day parade, to be held on Saturday, May 11.

Veterans will be parading with members of the PoCo Legion Pipe Band, the Legion Colour Party, 777 Neptune Squadron Air Cadets and band, Seaforth Highlanders Army Cadets and other veterans who have marched with the PoCo group in past years.

If you are unable to march, this is not a problem, as many veterans are assigned to golf carts that are sponsored by local businesses.
