Vote for Moody middle in Shell video contest

A Moody middle school class needs your vote to help it win the Shell Energy Diet Challenge.

A Moody middle school class needs your vote to help it win the Shell Energy Diet Challenge.

The Grade 6/7 class submitted a one-minute video script on energy conservation and, after being selected as one of 50 finalists from across Canada, was given an HD digital video camera to film the video.

The class whose video wins will earn $2,000 worth of technology.

There are just two days left to vote, however, so the class needs as many people as possible to visit energydiet.canadiangeographic.ca/home/landing and cast their support for Moody's video, titled "We Can Make a Difference."

The clever story, which was written and directed by the class, features a grandma whose power is being wasted by the "evil energy waster." The only one who can stop him - and save grandma's energy - is the superhero, and the message that, "Together, we can make a difference."
