A Tri-City group is hoping that Jean Peachman's community involvement will earn her recognition in the Salute to Senior Service presented by Home Instead Senior Care.
Peachman has devoted many years to community service, including with the Hyde Creek Watershed Society. The winner of the Salute to Senior Service will win $5,500 to go to the charity of their choice.
Peachman is at the top of the voting list for the Tri-Cities and if she wins, the money would pay for a new well at the Hyde Creek education centre and hatchery.
