You can learn about coastal whale populations next Wednesday when the Port Moody Ecological Society hosts Lance Barrett-Lennard of the Vancouver Aquarium at its annual general meeting.
Barrett-Lennard has studied both the fish- and mammal-eating killer whales and his research helped produce a recovery strategy for resident killer whales. On Feb. 15, will be discussing their needs and habits at the upcoming PMES meeting in multi-purpose room two upstairs at the Port Moody recreation centre. The AGM will begin at 6:30 p.m.
