Workshop designed to teach people how to deal with change

The Coquitlam RCMP's Victim Services Unit is hosting a workshop for anyone who is experiencing a major life change.

The Coquitlam RCMP's Victim Services Unit is hosting a workshop for anyone who is experiencing a major life change.

Called Surviving Major Life Changes: Symptoms, Sources and Survival Strategies, the program will be presented on April 10 between 6 and 9 p.m. by Denis Boyd, a registered psychologist.

The workshop is free and designed for anyone who has experienced a life change, which could involve dealing with the loss of a loved one, the loss of a job or a broken relationship.

The event takes place at Coquitlam city hall (3000 Guildford Way) and participants can register by calling the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1586. A free light supper will be provided.
