Greater Vancouver Home Builders' Association (GVHBA) has launched its 16th annual Coats for Kids campaign in support of the Lower Mainland Christmas Bureau, a group whose outreach helps to provide a brighter Christmas for families in need.
In addition to the GVHBA office, 29 member companies at 45 locations in 13 municipalities will serve as coat drop-off sites between Nov. 21 and Dec. 9 - as will The Tri-City News and its Black Press sister newspapers in the Lower Mainland.
Among the Tri-City drop-off spots is a local retail institution, PoCo Building Supplies. Each year for the past five years, the store has collected more than 300 items for the needy. Items can be dropped off at the main entrance at 2650 Mary Hill Rd.
