After two-year hiatus, 7-Eleven Day returns July 11 with free Slurpees

Get your Slurpee on this summer!

On July 11, 7-Eleven fans are invited to visit their nearest 7-Eleven Canada location to grab a free Slurpee.

After a two-year hiatus, 7-Eleven Day is making a long-awaited return this summer.

"This is the biggest celebration of the year, and we've been eagerly preparing to bring the event back to our stores after two years of celebrating from a distance," said Norman Hower, vice-president and general manager of 7-Eleven Canada, in a press release.

"7-Eleven Day is a tradition for our customers so we're incredibly excited to invite them to grab a refreshingly delicious Slurpee on us on our birthday."

To mark the event, 7-Eleven Canada is releasing a new feature flavour called the Crush Cactus Catapult, only available this summer. This drink is a "blend of refreshing orange and succulent pineapple taste."

And if mobile order is the preferred choice, 7NOW is a great alternative to have any 7-Eleven favourites delivered to one's home. On July 11, fans can also spend $20 on the app to get a free Slurpee and delivery.

When shopping in store, the company is giving away "seven prizes for one million 7Rewards points with the 7Rewards points bonanza," which is about 1,000 free drinks or redeemable points for food.
