Financial advisor James Leung will give you a fresh perspective on strategies to consider for preserving everything you've worked hard to build. In this free seminar, you will learn the value of having an estate plan beyond a simple will, four key building blocks for an effective estate plan and what to consider when creating or updating your estate plan. To register, please leave a message on the library's registration line at 604-937-4155.

This is Our Arctic: This event is a travelling photography exhibit consisting of photos taken by Arctic youth (from the communities of Old Crow and Inuvik) which has been previously displayed in art galleries in Whitehorse, Inuvik, and most recently in Vancouver. The photographs featured express what climate change in the Arctic looks like through the eyes of local youth. The young photographers featured took part in a workshop led by BYTE, a Whitehorse-based non-profit that delivers engaging programming to northern youth. Selected photographs from the exhibit will be on display at the Poirier and City Centre branches for the month of October.

For more information about any of these programs, visit www.library.coquitlam.bc.ca. The City Centre branch is located at 1169 Pinetree Way and the Poirier branch at 575 Poirier St.
