Keep kids’ hands and minds busy this month with a free holiday-at-home kit offered by the city of Coquitlam.
Parents of Coquitlam children and youth can pick up the crafting kits between Dec. 14 and Dec. 19 at the Poirier Community Centre (630 Poirier St.); however, registration is required before Dec. 10.
The kits, which include recipes, activities and craft ideas, are split into four age-appropriate groups: ages three to five; ages six to nine; ages 10 to 12; and ages 13 to 16.
And if supplies run out, the city will post a list of holiday recipes and activities on its website: coquitlam.ca/spirit (under the Children and Youth tabs).
Participants can also share photos of their final work through the city’s hashtag #coquitlamspirit.
