Coquitlam actor Grant Vlahovic plays Virgil Black in a play opening on Thursday at the Langley Playhouse.
Vlahovic is in Cocktails at Pam's, a quirky Canadian comedy by Stewart Lemoine. The show is directed by Dave Williams and produced by Mary Renvall.

Acrylic painter Jenn Muzyka will show her visual art techniques at a demonstration next week in Port Coquitlam.
Art Focus Artists' Association hosts the free event for the public on Wednesday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. in The Outlet in the Leigh Square Community Arts Village (behind PoCo city hall).

Award-winning films from around the world can be seen on Monday nights at PoCo's Terry Fox Library.
From Oct. 20 to Nov. 17, international flicks will be screened from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
