Metro Vancouver Transit Police recently honoured Anmore artist J Peachy for helping a woman after she was robbed of her cell phone.
The passenger was on the SkyTrain platform at the Broadway and Commercial station last January when another passenger grabbed her arms and took her phone; she gave chase but lost sight of the bandit after falling down the stairs.
Peachy caught up with the alleged thief, grabbed the phone and returned it to the shaken woman.
The suspect was later tracked down by Transit Police.
