Port Coquitlam's artist-in-residence will host a two-hour workshop next week for the public.

On Dec. 11, from 1 to 3 p.m., Adrian Walker will show his unique skill of using dry paint pigment to create a city scene. The hands-on session, titled Through the Mists, will take place at the Leigh Square Community Arts Village (behind city hall).

ARTSCONNECT AGM

The annual general meeting of a Tri-City arts group will be held this month.

ArtsConnect will host its AGM on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 3:30 p.m. at Port Coquitlam's Wilson Centre (2150 Wilson Ave.). Visit artsconnect.ca.

SUMMER FESTS

Emerging and professional musicians, dancers and theatre performers wanting to entertain at summer events in Port Coquitlam have until Dec. 20 to apply to the city.

Successful applicants will play at the Summer in the City festival, which happens in July and August at Leigh Square Community Arts Village and at Lions Park.
