Channeling the quirky dialogue of an indie film, this oddball assortment explores its theatrical side through imaginative, though sometimes awkward, theatre games.

As everyone gets closer, however, the seemingly silly games result in real-life drama.

Cavendish brings her unique touch to the funny and poignant proceedings that Backstage Magazine describes Circle Mirror Transformation as an honest comedy about "people exploring their lives through tiny leaps of faith and creativity."

"Nicola Cavendish, because of her many years as one of Canada's most inspired and empathetic performers, was the first person I thought of to direct the Canadian premier of a piece that centres on the connections between individuals," added Bill Millerd, Arts Club's managing director, in a release.

Circle Mirror Transformation is at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam) until March 10, with shows at 8 p.m., as well as a 4 p.m. show on Saturday, March 10. Tickets are $35/$15, available at www.evergreenculturalcentre.ca or 604-927-6555.
