DOUGLAS PLAYING
Coquitlam's Nadia Bordignon and Paula Broderick of Port Moody will star in Top Girls, a production by the Douglas College Theatre and Stagecraft & Event Technology departments. Bordignon plays Griselda, Louise and Mrs. Kidd while Broderick is cast in the dual role of Isabella/Nell. The show runs March 8 to 16 at the New Westminster campus (700 Royal Ave.). The president of the Kingdom Acts Foundation and the Transformation Centre will sign copies of his book in Port Coquitlam next month. Godwin Ude, a marriage counsellor, will be at Waves Coffee House (2627 Shaughnessy St.) on March 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. to autograph his new work, The Other Woman.

Tri-City teens can showcase their creative side this summer at the second annual Port Moody Youth Arts Festival. The Port Moody Arts Centre is now accepting applications for performances and art displays for the fest, which runs on July 26 and 27 at Port Moody city hall. The deadline for entries is Friday.
