Port Coquitlam actor Cindy Peterson Good plays a temptress in Becky's New Car, a Surrey Little Theatre production that opens tomorrow.
Tickets for the show, which runs until March 1, are $15 through [email protected].
NEW DEADLINE
The deadline has been extended for artists to apply to have installations in and around four Evergreen Line stations in Coquitlam.
Candidates now have until Wednesday, Feb. 12 at 2 p.m. to enter their submissions to the city, which is looking to beautify the station walls and plazas with public art such as street furniture or tiles.
The city's Evergreen Line Public Art Task Force will review the applications as well as commission the successful pieces. Visit coquitlam.ca/bidopportunities for more information.
LADY SNOW
A CD penned by a Port Coquitlam father whose son died 25 years ago is now for sale at the Crossroads Hospice thrift store in Coquitlam.
The music by Gerry Marsden is in memory of his son Rick, who passed away at the age of 28 from a cocaine overdose. The CD, titled The Journey, includes the song Lady Snow, which Marsden has played twice at the Crossroads coffeehouse; he will return on April 11 for another performance at The Gathering Place (behind Port Coquitlam city hall).
Proceeds from the CD are being donated to Crossroads.
