MUSIC WANTED

Musicians looking for a live gig can apply to play at Port Coquitlam's 5th annual Winter Artisans fair.

The boutique-style event runs Dec. 1 and 2 at Leigh Square Community Arts Village with vendors offering traditional crafts such as handmade knitwear, retro aprons, photo prints, pottery and children's books.

The fair coincides with Christmas in Leigh Square, an annual holiday celebration with Santa, carolers and a tree lighting.

The city is looking for "easy-listening" musicians to entertain during the fete, i.e., small choirs, instrumental, DJ to play Christmas songs or low-key vocals; sets are between 30 minutes and 1.5 hours long. For more information, email [email protected].
